With increase in flow rate, screw is moved in direction of liquid flow, and if flow rate is decreased, in opposite direction. Motion of screw is performed at instantaneous change in liquid flow rate relative to mean value at cavitation natural oscillation duty with frequency equal to oscillation frequency and phase coinciding with phase of oscillations.
