FIELD: mechanical engineering. SUBSTANCE: joint has posts and side-bars interconnected by jibs. The posts are rigidly connected to jibs and have two thrust pins. The side-bars have projections engageable with the pins and the conical hollows-semiholes wedged by a wedge. The joint has various realization depending on the furniture article and application. The ends of each pair of side-bars are mounted at an angle to posts connected by jibs so that their projections engage with the pins or the posts. A plate with pins is fastened in the post-and-side-bar joint. The wedge wedges the side-bars and fixes the assembled joint. The joint is dismantled by knocking the wedge out.
