PROCESS OF STABILIZATION OF OPERATION OF TURBO-GENERATOR UNDER EMERGENCY CONDITIONS Russian patent published in 1994 - IPC

FIELD: electrical engineering. SUBSTANCE: disturbance equal to difference of powers of turbine and generator and slip are measured. Detection of transition process or emergence of asynchronous mode in definite quadrant is registered in coordinates disturbance-slip, where disturbance is laid off as abscissa and slip as ordinate. Signals of action are formed: on load of turbine in first quadrant, on restoration of power with maximum speed on other quadrants, on forcing of excitation of generator in second and fourth quadrants, on unforcing of excitation in first and third quadrants. Formation of action signals is performed with restriction under low load of communication line of generator and if generator operates in reception center of power system. With emergence of asynchronous mode with positive slip restriction is lifted. EFFECT: improved prevention of development of emergency conditions.
