FIELD: electrical power engineering. SUBSTANCE: power of generators, difference of rotational speeds of shafts and voltage across buses are measured at power station. Variation of power across generator is found under asynchronous mode and if it deviates from preset one current value of power is corrected by its average value. For variations of power alternation of quadrants on phase plane is determined, where power is laid off as abscissa, difference of rotational speeds-as ordinate. If they follow clockwise turbines should be unloaded, if they follow counterclockwise load is disconnected. Unloading is carried out with time constant bigger than time constant of power system.
