FIELD: machine tool manufacture. SUBSTANCE: vice has a body with stationary and movable jaws. A movable jaw positioning mechanism has a screw with a junction and a lever with crank 6 and a handle parallel to the screw axis. Two junctions 8 and 9 which width "b" meets size s of the screw junction, and slot 10 connecting the junctions which width meets the circumscribed circle diameter of the screw junction are made on crank 6 which is a flat lever. A stop spring ring excludes axial displacement of the lever both at crank arm control and lever rotation in crank slot 10. EFFECT: improved structure. 2 dwg
