FIELD: mechanical engineering. SUBSTANCE: vice has body, stationary jaw and moving jaw, motion screw. Mechanical-hydraulic booster is secured on motion screw near handle. Plunger transmits clamping force from hydraulic cylinder to moving jaw through stem. Pivoted lever-type frame is made up of lever, bush, screw, and one more lever. Frame is used as support for moving jaw. It takes load through motion screw. For displacement of moving jaw to other position, use is made of bevel gear transmission and handle. Frame eliminates bending moment in vice body and allows for accurate positioning of article being clamped. Aforesaid embodiment of vice is very simple in design and convenient in handling. It develops high clamping force, and ensures high accuracy in positioning of article being clamped. EFFECT: higher efficiency. 5 cl, 4 dwg
