FIELD: shipbuilding. SUBSTANCE: body of yacht has sides sagging toward diametrical plane of the yacht. Keel has alternating narrow and thickened sections. Sagging parts of yacht sides in stern and aft portions prevent formation of reflected waves normally caused by known yacht designs. Drift is reduced thanks to appearance of return flows caused by alternating thickened and narrowed keel portions. EFFECT: improved yacht performance. 3 dwg
