SUBSTANCE: prior to placing a shaft in the plant of the invention, supporting rollers 6 are mounted in the required position by means of mechanism traveling drive - winch 16. Each post 3, carrying slides 5 with supporting rollers 6, moves along guides 2. Drum 10, having cable 14 coiled on it, is stopped, with post being moved by winch 16. Drum 10 of the immobile post is released and coupling 9 is disengaged. Coupling 9 is engaged and drum 10 is released in order to adjust supporting rollers 6 for height, with winch 16 rotating drum 10 which in turn transmits the rotation to nut 8 engaging screw 7. This way slide 5, in which screw 7 is mounted, is adjusted for height. EFFECT: enlarged operating capabilities. 3 dwg
