SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to equipment intended for technological operations associated with the lifting and installation of drums and coils with long materials, can be used to lift cable drums and hold them on weight when unwinding the cable. Cable drum lifting device contains two supporting posts (1) and (2) mounted on base (3), load-carrying element (4) installed in eyes of the sliders (46) and (49) connected by roller hangers with lifting mechanism (5) cable drum. Lifting mechanism includes a winch with a drum for winding two ropes with manual rotation, which includes a toothed worm pair and crank (41), guide rollers and a rope.

EFFECT: facilitating working conditions, increasing labor productivity, improving the reliability of fixing the cable drum in the raised position, improving the safety of the device.
