FIELD: mechanical engineering. SUBSTANCE: recuperative brake has a transmission shaft coupled with a freewheel through a planet gear. The freewheel is kinematically connected with a sun wheel. The brake includes a screw spring set on a rod which is coupled with the sun wheel through a ball-screw transmission whose nut is coupled with the sun wheel via the planet gear. The screw spring is interposed between movable disk and piston of ring hydraulic cylinder which is coupled with a control unit coupled with a hydraulic pump. The hydraulic cylinder is used for controlling extent of additional deformation and hence for controlling rate of deceleration (acceleration) in braking (speeding up) on commands of the control unit. The ball-screw transmission allows to transmit axial and tangential forces independently of inclination of teeth of the gear wheels of the planet gear. EFFECT: enhanced reliability. 2 cl, 2 dwg
