FIELD: mechanical engineering. SUBSTANCE: in the process of determination of combustion chamber resonant frequencies by plotting the characteristic of chamber response to harmonic oscillations at a varying frequency generated by an amplitude-modulated electric discharge the response characteristic is plotted at a frequency equal to doubled modulation frequency of the electric discharge, and the chamber resonant frequencies are determined according to the frequencies of the response characteristic maxima. EFFECT: enhanced truth of determination of resonance acoustic characteristics of combustion chamber in high-frequency region. 4 dwg
