FIELD: electroacoustics.

SUBSTANCE: proposed generator designed to generate acoustic waves of sound and ultrasonic frequency has case filled with working medium that accommodates two electrodes, swirl chamber whereto working gas is tangentially supplied, and modulated high-voltage supply. One of electrodes is disposed on butt end and other one is hollow structure provided with nozzle at output. Generator also has additional hollow electrode coaxially mounted between main electrodes and dc voltage supply. The latter is connected to butt-end and additional electrodes. Modulated voltage supply is connected to hollow electrode.

EFFECT: enhanced operating reliability.
