FIELD: thermometry. SUBSTANCE: thermal emf of two thermocouples made up of two main and an additional thermocouple wires is measured. With the use of the measured thermal emf the thermocouple thermoelectric coefficient is found, which is then used for determining the actual temperature of the object. The material of the additional thermocouple wire is similar to that of one of the main thermocouple wires, and its diameter differs from the diameter of the other main thermocouple wire. EFFECT: enhanced accuracy of temperature measurement. 3 dwg
