FIELD: methods of magnetic recording. SUBSTANCE: method involves filtering and generation of first pulse sequence, information sequence and pulse sequence, which is invariant to losses, from played recorded information. This pulse sequence is converted to synchronization pulse sequence which is converted to sequence of marker pulses for misalignment correction. Then sequences of first and second gate pulses are generated and sequence of information pulses serves as the result. In addition method involves decreasing frequency of pulse sequence which is invariant to losses. This results in generation of additional pulse sequence which is used for selection of synchronization pulse sequence and sequence of marker pulses for misalignment correction. Sequence of information pulses is delayed by period of marker pulses for misalignment correction. Number of synchronization pulses between marker pulses for misalignment correction is counted. If this number k is equal to N then delayed group of sequences of information pulses is the only output group of pulses. If k=dN then delayed group of sequences of information pulses is divided into d output group of pulses. Each output pulse sequence is generated by addition of corresponding output pulse groups. EFFECT: increased fidelity of recorded digital information playback. 3 dwg
