FIELD: quantum electronics. SUBSTANCE: invention refers to solid-state lasers with Q-modulation within wave range 1.3-3.0 μm. Laser has resonator inside which ferrite-garnet laser element and polarizer are installed. Polarizer is so installed that at initial state radiation passed through element twice is suppressed. Pulse magnetic field created by coils leads to change of angle of turn of plane of polarization of radiation. EFFECT: enhanced operational efficiency. 6 cl, 1 dwg, 1 tbl
