FIELD: computer engineering. SUBSTANCE: method involves direction of plane-polarized light to film of ferrite- garnet which has single magnetic axis with compensation temperature of pulse moment. Film temperature is set equal to compensation temperature of pulse moment. This results in increased gyromagnetic ratio and attenuation characteristics of film. Film is magnetized by displaced magnetic field applied along light magnetization axis until it is saturated. Pulse magnetic field is applied in reverse direction. Amplitude of this modulation field should provide magnetic reversal by rotation of magnetization. EFFECT: increased frequency of modulation. 1 dwg
