FIELD: electrical engineering. SUBSTANCE: piezoelectric motor is meant for use in the capacity of low-speed ungeared drives of various mechanisms. It has stator rotor. Body of stator carries piezoelectric oscillator containing piezoelement and collector - thin metal disc (or ring) with bent teeth-springs tightly fitted to cylindrical surface of piezoelement. Pushers are mechanically coupled to teeth, their free ends rest against surface of rotor with inclination. Pushers can be attached to outer side with reference to piezoelement or by means of bents, in particular, straps of U-shaped pushers positioned between teeth. In last case they are joined by releasable connection which provides for self-setting of pushers when they are registered on piezoelement in circumferential direction. When alternating voltage is fed to electrodes of piezoelement radial oscillations will emerge in it which are transmitted to pushers directly or with the aid of teeth-springs tightly fitted to piezoelement. Rotor starts rotation due to periodic jamming of outer ends of pushers with expansion of piezoelement and with their slip over surface of rotor with compression of piezoelement.
