FIELD: electricity.
SUBSTANCE: piezoelectric motor is meant for use in step drives of automation devices for high-precision positioning of samples and probes. The piezoelectric motor has a rotor and a stator, arranged coaxially. A piezoelectric oscillator in form of a radially polarised piezoelectric pipe is fitted on the stator through a sound insulating layer. Pusher-plates are fitted on the cylindrical surface of the piezoelectric pipe. A shaft is connected to the rotor and placed on bearings. The piezoelectric oscillator is attached in cantilever fashion, and second ends of the pusher-plates are joined to its cylindrical surface.
EFFECT: wider functional capabilities and increased angular stepped displacement.
