FIELD: metallurgy. SUBSTANCE: bath furnace to produce melting of rocks has a basin, a producing canal of feeder and an arch with burners, located along its longitudinal axis. The furnace basin is made as zones, located in steps with regard to each other in relation to upper plane of refractory material of the basin walls. The first zone is made as a site, lifted over the upper plane of the refractory material of the basin walls with angle of inclination of 7 - 10 deg. to longitudinal plane of the refractory material surface of the basin walls. Pouring butt of the site is inclined at an angle of less than 90 deg. EFFECT: bath furnace is used to produce melting of rocks. 2 cl, 1 dwg
