FIELD: building industry. SUBSTANCE: mixture has, wt.-% basalt superfine fiber 35-44; bentonite clay 39-44; organosilicon liquid-136-41 9.3-9.7; sulfosuccinic acid di-2-ethylhexyl ester sodium salt 4.6-5.0; pigment aluminium powder 0.1-1.3, and alkaline metal hydroxide 3-5. Basalt fiber is dispersed in water in the presence of sulfosuccinic acid di-2-ethylhexyl ester sodium salt for 10 min, then clay suspension is added to the mixer and stirred for 4-5 min, then organosilicon liquid-136-41 is added and after 2-3 min aluminium powder suspension and alkaline metal hydroxide were added. Mixture is stirred for 3-5 min. Properties of heat-insulating material: density is 50-70 kg/m3 and heat conductivity is 0.033-0.036 W/m x K at 25 C. Material is used as laying one in building, ship building and instrument making. EFFECT: enhanced quality of material. 1 tbl
