FIELD: furnace lining. SUBSTANCE: lining contains magnesia-spinellide and mullite-chromite or chromite-mullite-siliceous refractories alternating in furnace length at a ratio of 1:5 to 5:1, the maximum quantity of similar refractories in one cell is up to 25. EFFECT: enhanced wear resistance of lining by improvement of baking of the coating with articles owing to physical and chemical processes of engagement of mullite and chromite in articles with coating components.
