FIELD: sports equipment. SUBSTANCE: racket has core 1, handle and straps 3, which embrace core 1 from both sides. Straps 3 are glued to core. Each strap has base 4 with ridges 5 on one side. Ridges have cavities 6. Other side of strap 3 is working side with planar surface 7, into which cavities of all ridges are open. Cavities are provided with air exit channels, formed as slit-type openings 8 disposed along perimeter of cavities. Axes of slit-type openings are inclined with respect to cavity wall and base plane. When racket strikes against ball, strap 3 is elastically deformed as well as ball, which is simultaneously in contact with a plurality of cavities 6 of ridges 5. Ball sticks to cavity of at least one ridge in the center of percussion and contacts with other cavities with partial overlapping of their sections. Air is relieved from cavities 6 through slit-type openings 8 to form flows of air passing along bottoms 9, which facilitate additional rotation of ball by air pad. EFFECT: increased efficiency by imparting greater rotation speed and initial speed to ball. 2 cl, 4 dwg
