FIELD: sport.

SUBSTANCE: method of manufacturing a tactile racket for table tennis on the basis of a 3D image is claimed. It consists in making an impression of a player's hand, scanning the impression by means of a scanner with illumination by a flash-lamp with the application of 3D technology at a distance of 0.4…1 m, with the time of the picture exposure being 0.0001…0.0002 s. Data about measurements are processed by a computer and displayed on the screen in the form of a three-dimensional image. A computer model is cut into two halves, the size of the blade is measured, two programs of manufacturing the racket handle halves are set, the said halves are manufactured by a milling machine with computer control. The racket base is measured, gouging of the internal surface for the base size is carried out and the final product is assembled. The racket handle is gripped by five fingers and the palm: the forefinger and the thumb control the blade, the handle on the palm is fixed by three remaining fingers, the tactile signal from the ball hit is transmitted through the fingers and the palm.
