FIELD: tailoring industry. SUBSTANCE: thread before touching the needle and air stream interact with solid coolant of inert properties, e.g., solid carbon dioxide. Consumption rate at inlet gas channel is limited by ratio given in invention description. Device has sewing machine, air distributor with gas channels, one of which is directed to zone of contact of thread and needle. Control valve installed in air distributor is made hollow with radial channels. Holder with gas-permeable walls is secured in hollow and filled with coolant - solid carbon dioxide liberating gas with inert properties. Holder, air distributor and control valve have radial recesses coinciding during turning of control valve round its axis. In this case, recess walls and coolant serve as thread guides. Device has comparison unit with setter of sewing parameters. Comparison unit is connected with transducer of sewing speed and with electromagnet of control valve.
