METHOD OF AND PNEUMATIC CONTROL ACTUATOR TO CONTROL GUIDE MISSILE Russian patent published in 2005 - IPC

Abstract RU 2254501 C2

FIELD: automatic controls.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to power control systems operating on gaseous medium and it can be used at designing flying vehicle control actuators. According to control signal of operating pressure differential in spaces of pneumatic actuator, area of technological clearance is changed simultaneously and purposely by means of areas of throttling holes of pneumatic distributor in which technological clearance is made to compensate for influence of external factors onto dynamic characteristics of pneumatic actuator. Proposed pneumatic control actuator consists of housing which accommodates slave motor with piston rigidly coupled with actuators of flying vehicle. Pneumatic distributor is spool type, its movable part is secured on cantilever part of axle of electromechanical converter armature secured on actuator housing being installed with technological clearance relative to fixed part of pneumatic distributor. Axle of armature of electromechanical converter is arranged square to plane in which spool displaces, being installed so that ratio of value of technological clearance to length l of axle of armature from movable part of spool to place of its fastening in housing of electromechanical converter corresponds to relationship

where is relative speed of actuator; is maximum speed of actuator; is relative temperature; is nominal temperature for which is found; is nominal technological clearance at is relative change of technological clearance; are temperature expansion coefficients of different material of axle of electromechanical converter and its housing. Area at technological clearance related to maximum regulated area of through section in spool distributor is within 0.08-0.12.

EFFECT: simplified design.
