FIELD: paper industry. SUBSTANCE: waste paper with one- and two-sided film coating is subjected to mechanical treatment by means of simultaneous influence of piercing and breaking forces. Then, waste paper is heated by steam to a temperature of 60 to 100 C. Waste paper treated by steam is cut into pieces by simultaneous influence by compressive and shearing forces.
