FIELD: earth-moving and handling machinery. SUBSTANCE: jib slewing column has upright with lower and upper vertical lugs, upper and lower horizontal lugs with holes, vertical axles, horizontal lugs with holes, vertical axles, horizontal parts with holes for vertical axles, column slewing hydraulic cylinders. Upright is made in the form of box-shaped structure. Box-shaped structure is vertical sheet framework U-shaped in cross section with vertical lateral wall facing horizontal lugs. Upper and lower projections of framework on unoccupied sides of its side walls form upright vertical lugs. Box-shaped structure also has additional lateral sheet wall inclined towards vertical lugs. Side edges of wall are welded to inner sides of side walls and upper edge - to inner wall of lateral wall of framework. Horizontal lugs are made in the form of sheet members with recesses in bases. These members are welded to external sides of lateral and side walls of vertical framework around edges of recesses. Horizontal parts are provided with holes for axles to connect column slewing hydraulic cylinders. Horizontal parts are also made in the form of two pairs of additional horizontal lugs arranged one under another. Holes in one pair of additional lugs are arranged at opposite side from holes in another pair in relation to middle vertical plane of upright. Vertical framework is provided with vertical cover plates U-shaped in cross section. They are placed to embrace external sides of lateral and side walls of framework and are welded to them. Additional lugs are welded to S-shaped cover plates over edges in recesses of their bases. EFFECT: strengthened structure of slewing column. 2 dwg
