FIELD: testing techniques. SUBSTANCE: selective express method for determining cadmium is based on the reaction of complex connection with thyrodine. To realize the method, pH of sample solution is brought to 4-5, then a 1.5-3-fold excess of thyrodine is added and the colored solution is photometered in the absorption zone with a maximum at 520 nm.
