FIELD: production of superfine fiber. SUBSTANCE: line for production of superfine fiber from rods of thermoplastic material, mainly, of quartz glass, has successively installed rod cutting and feeding mechanism with turning cross-piece and changeable holder, gas burners for fusing rods and blowing of primary continuous fiber into staple superfine fiber, rocker with device for distribution of primary fibers, mechanism for drawing of primary fibers with knife for separation of coarse feed fibers, and receiving device. Located under knife for separation of coarse feed fibers is device for deflection, transportation, milling and collection of milled coarse feed fibers in collector. Collector is made in form of guide branch pipe communicated with air-tight chamber under rarefaction with mechanism mounted inside chamber for milling of coarse primary fibers. Chamber is communicated with collector of milled fibers made in form of bag filter. EFFECT: higher efficiency. 1 dwg
