FIELD: well-head rod clamps. SUBSTANCE: well-head rod clamp is mounted at designed height determined according to preset relationship from point of attachment of head to balance beam. After clamp gets in contact with cover of well-head gland, switching off the electric motor and braking the pumping jack will be effected in due time. After clamp gets in contact with housing of well-head gland (in case of insufficient dynamic loading), braking process will be performed at subsequent dynamic loading when pumping jack has attained mode of steady motion.
