FIELD: measurement technology. SUBSTANCE: method includes passing of flat coherent light wave through diffuser, passing of scattered waves through controlled telescopic system with known magnification value μ, construction of pattern of diffuser in plane registering medium hologram, registration of hologram with the aid of reference wave, lighting of hologram with same waves, introduction of phase changes in light waves and registration of interferogram in performance of spatial filtering in plane of hologram. Phase changes in light waves are effected by shifting diffuser and controlled object square to optical axis in one direction through values related to relation b/a = μ+1, where a and b are values of shift of controlled object and diffuser, respectively.
