DEVICE FOR MAGNETIC PARTICLE TESTING Russian patent published in 1994 - IPC

Abstract RU 2020465 C1

FIELD: nondestructive testing. SUBSTANCE: device has two U-shaped electromagnet mechanically not connected to each other and located on article from each other at distance equal to 4-4.5 length values of pole piece. Distance between poles of each electric magnet does not exceed 3-3.5 length values of electromagnet pole. Coils of each electromagnet are connected in parallel. EFFECT: higher sensitivity and reliability of testing articles with design difficult to reach. 2 cl, 1 dwg
