FIELD: automatic equipment, computer technology, communication. SUBSTANCE: device uses the series-control stabilizer circuit with a regulating component and negative feedback. The device has current transducers, multipliers, amplifiers according to the number of transistors of the regulating component, two conductive decoupling units and a fault indicating unit. Depending on the level of voltage across the current transducer and collector-emitter voltage of the power transistors, a normal or emergency signal to switch off the power supply system is produced. The device discriminates the current and power emergency signals.
