FIELD: agriculture. SUBSTANCE: plants are grown in a prism-shaped pot with walls cut along the ribs. The walls may be folded or rolled. The pot has a framework with its rods located inside the pot under its ribs. As the plant grows, the walls get straightened in a discrete manner, and the free space is filled with some nutritive mix for development of roots. Later the pot is laid on one side, and this makes the plant stem top turn upward at an angle of 90 deg. The plant is planted in the soil with the pot if the latter has perforation holes. EFFECT: early development of tomato plant roots; improved growing conditions. 5 cl, 10 dwg
