FIELD: technical entomology. SUBSTANCE: method for mass-scale reproduction of entomophag (aphis lion) involves a number of processes such as preparation of barley kernels to be infested with eggs of grain moth, infestation, grain moth raising the imago phase under best favorable conditions, introduction of eggs of aphis lion in a certain parasite/entomophag ratio, and raising of entomophag for 20-22 days with feeding (honey and homogeneous substance of bee pyralid caterpillars). After aphis lions lay eggs, imago insects are transferred to other containers, and the remaining eggs are mixed with grain. As larvae of the first and second age appear from the eggs, the entomophagous material is disseminated in insect pest habitats. EFFECT: higher insect pest control effectiveness. 4 cl
