FIELD: fire fighting. SUBSTANCE: to put out fire horn of fire extinguisher is aimed at surface on fire and shaft is turned by hand drive handle. Drum installed in holder starts rotating and compartments are filled in turn with fire extinguishing powder from reservoir. Rollers secured on rods get in turn onto step. Moving along steps they get in turn to center of drum and set resilient agitator in operating position by means of rod. Agitator is made in form of plate or diaphragm spring or in form of spring-loaded piston. Rollers break away from edges of steps and cause sharp, abrupt return of agitator in initial position. Portion of fire extinguishing powder is ejected from compartment through horn to surface on fire. EFFECT: enlarged operating capabilities. 4 cl, 1 dwg
