FIELD: chemical technology. SUBSTANCE: catalyst has ultrastable zeolite Y which is dealuminized by isomorphic substitution of aluminium for silicon up to molar ratio 7-15 at crystallinity 90-100%, cell parameter 24.44-24.55 and sodium oxide content 0.14-0.56 wt.-%. Zeolite is dispersed on the oxide matrix on the basis of kaolin and silica gel at the mass ratio of zeolite: kaolin:silica gel 20:60:20. Catalyst has components at the following concentrations as oxides, wt.-%: aluminium oxide 28.0-33, sodium oxide 0.18-0.32, and silicon dioxide - the rest. Dry kaolin and zeolite are ground, suspended in distilled water and stirred for 1 h. Suspension has pH value 4.0-4.4. Silica sol is added to the suspension, homogenized for 1 h and subjected for spraying drying. Catalyst is calcinated at 700 C for 6 h following by stabilization with steam at 775 C.
