FIELD: metal plastic working. SUBSTANCE: method involves straightening and surface plastic deformation together with simultaneous constant effect of deformation tool. Prior to machining flexible shaft is subjected to elastic deformation at the expense of bending moments applied to its ends in the direction which is opposite to initial bending direction by the value given in the invention description.
