FIELD: chemical technology. SUBSTANCE: 100 g Canadian titanic slag is treated with 140 g concentrated sulfuric acid, and water is added to melt prepared. Then polyvinyl alcohol is added at concentration 0.05 wt.-% (at calculation for the basic substance). Melt is leached at stirring with compressed air, filtered. Titanium extraction into solution is 95%. Stability of solution is 650 650cm3. Method is used for preparing of titanium sulfate solutions used for titanium dioxide isolation.
