FIELD: manufacture of Bengal lights. SUBSTANCE: essence of this method resides in preparing pyrotechnic composition including barium nitrate, aluminummagnesium alloy, iron filings, and starch or dextrin by admixing enumerated ingredients with water to viscosity of (1,0-1,3)·105Pa·c, molding thus prepared composition using needle die at temperature of 24 to 30 C and fitting discharged product on metallic rod. Process time: 8 h. Bengal light (length: 120 to 210 mm) combustion time: 90 to 180 s. Sparking force: 10 to 20 mm. EFFECT: more sophisticated design. 4 tbl
