FIELD: manufacture of heat-sound-proof linoleum. SUBSTANCE: linoleum includes fibrous base, flexible foam layer based on polyvinylchloride applied to base and face protective transparent polyvinylchloride film. Fibrous base is fabricated from asbestos board composed of as follows: 30 to 70 parts by mass asbestos fibers, 30 to 70 parts by mass vegetable fibers, 15 to 25 parts by mass artificial rubber latex (per dry matter), 4 to 6 parts by mass coagulants, 5 to 7 parts by mass technical-grade lignosufonates and 5,000 to 10,000 parts by mass water. Ratio between thicknesses of polyvinylchloride coating and fibrous base is (2 to 7):1. Linoleum characteristics are as follows: abradability - 27 to 28 microns; absolute press-in deformability - 1.8 to 2.1 mm; absolute residual deformability - 0.3 to 0.6 mm; specific surface electric resistance - (2.7 to 3.2) (2,7-3,2)·1010 ohms; under-floor impact noise reduced level reduction factor - 18.5 to 20.5 dB; floor surface heat absorption index - 100-10,8Wt/m2·K. EFFECT: in-production and in-service shrinkage of linoleum is eliminated, noninflammability, biological immunity and durability of linoleum is scaled up and wetted base remains intact after completion of 2,000 test cycles. 3 tbl
