FIELD: mining. SUBSTANCE: coal continuous miner includes frame 1 with guides 2, auger sectional cutting tool 3 installed on brackets 4 for reciprocation along face and rocking over seam thickness, loader 5, drive 6 and hydraulic cylinders 7 for rocking cutting member 5. Drive is installed between one of pairs of auger sections of cutting tool coaxial with their shafts. Brackets are of angle shape and provided with sliding supports located at corner top. Sliding supports interact with one of guides and with additional supports installed on bracket ends and interacting with other guide which is movable square to cutting tool and connected with hydraulic cylinders of cutting tool rocking.
