FIELD: geoelectric prospecting. SUBSTANCE: grounded in two mine workings are current-carrying electrodes A and B and measuring electrodes M and N. Electrodes M and N are located in one working. Electric field is excited through current-carrying electrodes A and B, and its value is measured with the aid of electrodes M and N. In so doing, electrodes are moved in compliance with preset scheme. Electrode A is grounded in one mine working, and electrode B in some other, and electric field is measured by varying distance between electrodes A and B by their displacement. All current-carrying electrodes B are grounded in low resistance rocks of roof. EFFECT: higher efficiency. 13 dwg
