FIELD: modelling in medicine. SUBSTANCE: model of tooth made of transparent material is loaded from outside of root. The model is subjected to radiation of polarized light. Interference pattern is indicated, which is used for determining location of area of maximal stretching stresses. These locations are used for specifying zones being hazard for breakages in tissues of natural tooth. EFFECT: improved reliability; improved efficiency. 3 dwg
