FIELD: fishing industry. SUBSTANCE: trawl comprises guide, holding and catch-collecting portions. Holding portion is made of mirror-image net sections provided with side sections having rhombus-shaped mesh. Net sections are interconnected by cylindrical bands of netting also with rhombus-shaped mesh. The catch-collecting portion is of identical construction which is practicable while catching dispersed schools of fish. EFFECT: higher catching efficiency ensured by opening net meshes, reducing resistance of net and preventing overstresses in joints of net sections during trawl towing. 8 dwg
