FIELD: commercial fishery, in particular, exclusion of small-sized object catching. SUBSTANCE: device has selective and guiding members and cylindrical carcass defined by system of longitudinal and transverse cables. Selective and guiding members defining insert are made in the from of truncated conical figures, which are interconnected with their small ends to define large-sized fish passage into trawl sack and secured within carcass so that their large ends are fixed at carcass and netted enclosure junction. First conical figure is defined by selective grids and alternating netted inserts and second conical figure is made netted. Trawl is preferably equipped with selective buffer belt defined by system of longitudinal and transverse cables to which selective grids and alternating netted inserts may be attached, or with selective grids attached to trawl enclosure between buffer belt and device for releasing small objects. EFFECT: simplified construction, device may be mounted on trawl of any type and increased efficiency in separation of young fishes through the whole thickness of water-fish mixture. 4 cl, 4 dwg
