FIELD: fish industry, in particular, trawls for catching such fishes as haddock, cod etc and sorting out small-sized young fishes. SUBSTANCE: trawl has projection-board made in the form of carcass with netted cover fixed within lower part of trawl net and V-shaped vertical wall secured along its perimeter to upper part of trawl netted enclosure so that through opening for passage of large-sized fish is defined. V-shaped wall is formed by selective grid and guiding members pivotally connected at an angle one with respect to the other. Discharge opening for small-sized fish is made in netted enclosure in front of guiding member. V-shaped wall is fastened to trawl enclosure along its perimeter. Rigid members of V-shaped wall and projection board are provided with netted edges for flexible fastening of these members on trawl enclosure. Guiding member lower side is covered with water-impermeable material. Strips of water-impermeable material may be fastened in spaced relation one relative to the other on netted surface of projection board. Guiding member may be made in the form of step with upper side extending in parallel with trawl axis. EFFECT: increased efficiency by preventing small-sized young fishes from getting into trawl and enhanced reliability in operation. 3 cl, 11 dwg
