DUST/GAS CATCHER Russian patent published in 1994 - IPC

FIELD: gas purification from both dust and SOSO₂. SUBSTANCE: dust/gas catcher has rotor 1 made in the form of rotary body, inlet gas duct 2 connected to Venturi tube. The rotary body represents a surface with convexity directed downstream the gas. Venturi tube has branch pipe 4 for fluid inlet and it is connected to guiding apparatus 5 made in the form of a segment constituting the rotary body. The guiding apparatus has fluid inlets 6. The rotor is connected to drive system 7 and it is positioned in body 8 provided with channel 9 to remove slurry. The channel is made in the form of horizontal tore-like segment. Body 8 and guiding apparatus 5 form annular channel 10 to remove purified gas. EFFECT: higher gas purification. 7 cl, 5 dwg
