FIELD: manufacture of composite materials. SUBSTANCE: process includes electric precipitation of high-dispersion micron powders in two-layer bath, successive rinsing with 0.1-0.5 per cent aqueous solution of hydroxide of alkali metal and with polar solvent followed by thermal treatment. EFFECT: increased content of metal phase (by 6-9%), enhanced specific saturation magnetization (by 10-19%), capability for production of high-dispersion micron powders of iron-nickle alloy. 1 tbl
