FIELD: production of composition materials. SUBSTANCE: method involves electrodeposition of magnetic particles in two-layer electrolytic bath, powder washing with polar solvent, powder treatment with 0.05-0.15 wt.-% solution of ammonium-containing reagent followed by powder thermal working. Corrosion resistance of iron powders, cobalt, alloy iron-cobalt and iron-nickel is increased by 5.5; 6; 7 and 5.8 times, respectively. EFFECT: enhanced corrosion stability of powders. 1 tbl
